Hello, That was an excellently written remit. AutoCad automation is my specialization for over 25 years. This bid is to be reassessed following this discussion of your project details and additional clarifications. That you are running AutoCad 2006 LT, the automation options are very limited. Scripts only, I believe. There's a way for an Autocad script to wblock all entites from the APALAisles layer to a dxf file which an Excel macro or addin would read, process and output Junction and Aisles sheets AND write a dxf file to disk containing the new Junction and Aisle labels and symbols. Another AutoCad script would then insert the Excel generated dxf file. I don't think this is the best way to go. Upgrading your AutoCad LT to any full strength version (ideally 2010 or later) would allow this automation to happen entirely inside Autocad and in a number of different ways. It could be AutoLisp, it could be VBA, it could be .net. I am fluent in them all. There are pro and cons to each which we can discuss in detail should you choose.
