Work has included the design of data manipulation and final order creation interfaces using Excel and Access VBA, and as well the creation of forecasting models at the Customer-SKU level. Project management has also been one my significant responsibilities of this project in terms of coordinating and conducting project plans, weekly status meetings, inter-company collaboration, task definition, and follow-up. Other projects have included the derivation of solutions to various supply chain optimization problems related to manufacturing and distribution allocation of new products and locations within the Weston supply chain. Also, work has also included the creation of a number of generic data interface tools for supply chain planners and managers through all aspects of the supply chain. I have also been directly involved in a number of industrial engineering projects related to warehouse and distribution from both a technology and project management perspective. Supervisor of a group of logistics analysts including project management, prioritization, and assistance in problem solving when called upon. This work has allowed Weston’s to create a direct interface between logistics, information technology, manufacturing, and distribution producing and therefore has created a more coordinated supply effort in each of these areas. Accenture My main responsibilities at Accenture have included the design and implementation of a number of planning tools using MIMI/LP/DB/E across a number of DuPont’s different industry verticals such as fibers and textiles, surfaces, chemicals, paper, and Kevlar. All of this referenced work has been done using LP technology as found in MIMI/LP/DB/E. This work has been completed in mainly a project life cycle capacity, but has also included enhancements to existing MIMI/LP models. Part of the project life-cycle work has included creating a MIMI-to-Excel interface that would send MIMI data structures to Excel, and as well my responsibilities have also included creating a number of Excel VBA applications that read MIMI planning solution data directly from MIMI, and format this data into Excel pivot table format. Other Excel VBA applications have also been created, aside from a MIMI interface, to address specific business requirements. I have also been involved in a number of projects to integrate MIMI/LP planning solutions with MIMI/MJ functionality to create scheduling plans for a number of DuPont’s industry verticals as listed above. Until recently, I have been involved as a developer in creating a MIMI-to-SAP interface functionality for 9 current planning models in 4 different areas of functionality. All of this work was completed using MIMI/DB/E. In all of these projects, client interfacing has been a key portion of the work completed, and this has included being able to meet, and discuss in a professional manner, with clients to determine user requirements and then translate these requirements into a quality solution used to meet the current client’s business needs. Adexa During my employment with Adexa, an APS software producer primarily for semiconductor and electronics industry verticals, I worked as a Senior Consultant in both global and consulting support. My global support duties included providing worldwide user support on software functionality for each of Adexa’s supply chain planning software modules including demand management tools, manufacturing planning tools, and distribution planning tools. My consulting experience included providing on-site consulting support in terms of both implementation and user training in both a pre- and post-sales capacities. In terms of consulting, this work included providing configurable software solutions to address client business rules with all implementation work being done using Tcl/Tk. As well, included, as part of my experience was to liaise with R&D to insure that client business requirements, for both software enhancements and fixes, were correctly translated into functional software solutions in a timely and efficient manner. From an enhancement perspective, my responsibilities also included the design of a Strategic Supply Chain planning tool based upon LP technology that would address such business issues as long-term manufacturing and distribution planning. Molson Canada While at Molson, I worked as a senior developer in designing and implementing a logistics decision support system for Molson Canada’s Western Logistics division. The work included developing a VB5 and Oracle integrated environment to perform such functions as daily and weekly distribution planning, reporting, promotion management, daily production batch runs, and APS interface tools. Part of this work included user interfacing to determine functionality requirements and then to translate these requirements into a useful software solution in a timely and efficient manner. VB5 was primarily used to create an interface with Oracle to retrieve multiple data point
