Unlike cities of Vietnam or Japan, second largest city of Georgia, Batumi is not a typical place with long and narrow land lots, but yet, especially in older parts of the city, it's not a surprise to come across a gap between two buildings with dead end walls, usually no more than 3.5-4 meters wide and having no optimal function. This kind of gaps between structures prevent street elevation to be felt as whole, continious architecture. After searching for irregular, undervalued, slender pieces of land in old parts of Batumi, this project became a prototype of how to infill otherwise overlooked gaps in the city.

We are a small team of architects with lasting keen interest in our job. What really makes us choose architecture in its intrinsic appeal is the connection of science, technology and logic with art, craft and creativity. Four years' academic study of architecture, transformed our instinctive excitement and imagination about architecture into systematic knowledge and comprehensive understanding. Study of architectural courses, such as architectural structure, mechanics and materials science, made us realize that architecture not only gives importance on aesthetics, but also on the more essential functionality and practicality. As an ambitious and diligent team, our passion for challenges is truly immense. Deadlines, obstacles, limits and most importantly unsolved problems are what push our creativity forward. We constantly create our own environment for it to benefit what we need to accomplish in the next step. Feel free to contact us for more information.
