We are looking for a **top-of-the-line PSD to HTML/CSS Expert slicer** that **lives and breaths CSS/HTML** and that can tackle _**complex slicing and markup specifications and follow precise instructions**_ from our expert web-designer and Javascript programmer, throughout the entire slicing/html/CSS process.
_**Please do not bid if you are not a real expert in converting complex PSD's to CSS/HTML at a very high standard. **_
More details for this project can be found below.
## Deliverables
Here are the general specs from our web-designer and our javascript programmer. **Please note that for this first task we will test your skills by giving you only 1 PSD page to convert** (yet you'll be able to see the entire pages needed for all project to understand the overall slicing strategy in its entirety).
If you do a really good job here, we will let you complete all other pages and maybe even hire you on an ongoing basis to join our startup's production team on a long term basis:
Specs from our Web Designer:
1) pixel perfect psd to HTML skills
2) html5 rules knowledge
3) expert in CSS optimization
4) expert in CSS sprites
5) 1 main screen with 5-6 different views. 1 bottom screen toolbar.
6) We provide fully layered and organized psd files.
7) ability to create HTML version that is exactly similar to the psd file
and with as little as possible designer interference.
8) CSS sprites, images and HTML will have to be optimized for color switching.
9) the project will have thousands of impressions a minute so it has to be flawless and fully optimized for speed.
10) Coder needs to be able to communicate in english reasonably well.
11) Coder will need to constantly update our web-designer & Javascript programmer
about his progress and send updates frequently.
Specs from our Javascript Programmer:
1) if you can use GIT to keep the files versioned that would
be great. By using git we can make sure that we are all using up to
date files. We will create a git repository for you to use.
2) What we do NOT want is a full page of HTML. What we need is a sequence of small templates for each component.
3) We have put all the existing templates into a coffeescript source file
: "[url removed, login to view]" which will be compiled to Javascript.
4) Within the templates places where data has to be inserted into the
HTML - should be marked with tags like "<%= title %>".
5) In addition, we have created a simple Javascript library that will allow
templates to be inserted inside each other. To do that you'll need to create a div with the attribute "data-replace" with its value equal to the template to be inserted.
6) In addition you can create a list of templates to be inserted by
creating a list like this, the software will go over it and place each
template in the correct place:
panel_content: [
{template: "header" }
{template: "inner" }
]
Full details for this task will be provided in private, after signing an NDA that I will provide.

If you can do a really excellent job - ongoing work on this startup project may be possible.
