Touristic Guide Mechanism for Windows 8 apps and Windows 8 phone apps

The project shall be a mechanism for windows 8 application and windows phone 8 app (maybe later in android and iphone as well) that will act as a local touristic guide multilingual.

There will be a home page where the user will be able to navigate to options like... museums, information, restaurants, rentals etc...

within those options there shall be a list of options where the user may choose to click and view its details.

These options shall be for example in the case of restaurants the name of the restaurant with a thumbnail and a sentence of text and the detail page will be in the case of a tablet or bigger to a split(detailed page) or in the case of windows phone 8 to a new page with the details of the restaurant.

On the details page there shall be place for:

-a small gallery of 5-6 pictures (clickable to view in full-size similar to light-box) or slided on the phone app

-a link of the business location on the map and if the user wants to get immediate driving directions from his current location

-contact details of the business with option to call immediately

-and some paragraphs of text regarding the business

-a link to go back to the previous list or to the home page

the home page must also have an option to open a map of where our POI are. There shall be an option to filter the POI of the main lists such as show only the restaurants or only the museums or only the bars..... etc. The user must be able to click on the point see one sentence of text and have the option to click and enter the detailed page of the certain POI.

I want to be able to edit the contect easily. The data must be easily dynamically changed from an administrator and the use of the apps must be available offline for the users.

I have very good knowledge in html, vb.net and SQL that may help in choosing a method for me to be able to administer the app for content update

The source code shall be delivered well commented in english, available to be edited in visual studio 2012 proffesional.

On the bottom of the pages there shall be an adds section that will link to certain selected businesses. I must be able to select which businesses will be shown on each section.

I must also be able to change the background picture of each section which I think that it can be done also by editing the source code which I am able to do.

Future work will be needed for enchancing with more features the app in the future.
