I am using the toolbar located below, but it seems to have a bug that I'd like to fix. I've included a modified version of the project as an attachment.
To really see what's going on, you'll want to do the following. You may need to register [login to view URL] if it doesn't register automatically.
1. Run [login to view URL]
2. We're most concerned with the toolbar starting with "The time is now".
3. Click "Set to XP Styles" button (toolbar looks ok except the time and other text is cut off)
4. Click "Update Time" button.
Clicking the "Update Time" button causes the toolbar we're concerned with to size vertically, as well as centering the text vertically with the toolbar. You can see what's going on by rolling your mouse over that toolbar.
The project is self-contained in "[login to view URL]". Just load that to allow easy debugging.
The goal of this project is to get the toolbar not to resize vertically when trying to use XP Styles, which also works on Vista and Windows 7. I'm hoping this is bug in the toolbar and not an API limitation.
In order to see and work with this in the IDE ("XP Styles"), you'll need to have added a manifest to the VB6 program folder. If you don't have this, you can download it below. But I'm hoping if you're reading this, you already have it in place.
