Christmas Cottage

This project is to create a 3D Scene with exterior and interior of a warmly lit Christmas cottage in the winter. The general look and feel of the cottage to be inspired by this painting (but not to infringe copyright): [login to view URL] The primary output would be a fly-through video. Starting on the outside, then moving to the inside where the camera would briefly focus on about a dozen items within the interior of the cottage. Interior items would include things such as a fireplace, Christmas tree with ornaments, couch and book on a coffee table, etc. A few of the items would be animated like the fire, or pages turning in a book, however the scene is mostly static while the fly through takes place. The total time of the fly-through would be about 150 seconds. We are looking for something on par with the quality of interiors and exteriors used in a movie like Shrek2 (check out a clip here [[login to view URL]][1]). The difference is this has no animated characters, only has one scene, and is only a little more than 2 minutes of fly though. The primary output of the video would be 1280x720, with textures, details, lighting sufficient to look great at this resolution. We would also like the video to be able to still be usable at 720x480 output, I understand this is a different aspect ratio and hopefully there is a solution for this. We would need to have as a deliverable one video in .avi format, and all the original 3ds max project and assets. The cottage is not meant to model an actual place, so there is plenty of room for the 3d artist to be creative and work with us to make this a great project.
