Wizard Games is looking to grow it's pool of talented contract artists. This project requires the artist to design and produce all models and textures for a fantastic airport environment using an art style similar to that of Minecraft. Take a look at our game "Block Gun 3D: Ghost Ops" to get a feel for the art style: [login to view URL] This is a fun project where the artist would get to flex their design muscles and have a good deal of input into the outcome of the level. The artist should export the models into Unity 3D and design an engaging level for multiplayer play which will also be delivered as part of the project. The famous airport level from COD4: MW2 would work as a good reference for what kind of fun level we're looking for. The successful candidate will be able to produce models for approval that are low-poly, but beautiful in a timely manner. Further work is available based on the outcome of the level. I would love to have a shot at designing a level for someone other than myself or colleagues. In the past I have designed multiplayer levels in an Unreal Tournament style, with teleporters, shifting floors and walls (similar to the Mayan pyramid temple in the first Aliens versus Predator film), automated turrets at enemy based to combat spawn camping, and death traps/pitfalls. My goal is a fast-paced, dynamically changing map, perhaps in a medieval or outter space setting. I am proficient in Unity, textures, materials, and somewhat proficient in scripting. Hello there, I have lot of experience with game design and level design. With 8 years of modeling and texturing i can safely say that i have a clear view of what must be done. My idea would be to recreate the airport of Tokyo. The playful design of the airport and its gates is very interesting and the fact that the airport is surrounded with water creates a good natural boundary of the level. Giving players access to the interior of a couple of planes would create nice and exiting interaction environments and in contrast the great open spaces of the airfield and the hallways give a totally different feeling. The final element of interesting creation will be that its a foreign environment which leaves room for surprising design.
