Recode Application from Swing/Awt to NetBean (zFlex Integrator)

I have an application which we have coded in java Swing and AWT. The code needs to be redone using Netbeans 7.2. The application is a desktop application with several UI and buttons, etc. Key items that must been done (recoded) so that it's modules are resusable (ie the authentication module) which may be called throughout the usage sessions. 1) Login screen (I have design specs - from our coding in swing) - will need typical method of having a user profile field/password fields, save password fields, way to encrypt password if saved (to text file or in database)...etc 2) Create profile method and method to remove profiles and update them by re-reading the profile or database file and updating 3) Leveage the profile information to authenticate user wth LDAP backend. also this is where the authentication module will be used. Just call the auth method and it will verify the user and check for exceptions (like wrong password or expired or bad ID...etc). 4) This then passes the Main Login screen off (hides or destoy it) and brings up The Main Administration Workbench screen (which we have already designed as well) . Will need to have this done n netbeans. Separating the code from UI. 5) The workbench screen will be a frame with a number of buttons and labels/fields and Menupanel. Also, the frame have panels with TABS which can be used. Some options may spawn off another thread to a separate frame to do some Monitor to allow the user to have two windows. One workbench and another for Monitoring. The zflex integrator is used for Monitoring and Administration of users in LDAP. Your knowledge of LDAP and tree structures will be good to have along with java and swing. Thanks - Tony
