I have a client with life rights for his father who was (he passed away) a mega entrepreneur and created a world famous business. The client is not a writer himself but has film contacts. He would like to have a well written treatment to use for pitching the idea. We have 28 pages of transcribed notes from the father with anecdotes and the the general sequence of how the business was created. You could also talk to the son on details of what he would like in the film. You would have some creative license knowing what is best in the film industry.
