The Project involves connecting two Cloud mail email servers. An example of this end of the link is Gmail. The other end of the link would be on the PC of one of our customers'PCs. Data must be transmitted between the servers in real time.
The communication protocol for commincating with Gmail and other cloud providers are available on the Internet and pulicly available.
Data on the link between our curtomers' PCs and their PC is in real time. You need not be concerned with the content of what the link contains. The data your. The link passes it unchangsd to another applicatoin running on our userss PCs.
We require that the Link application be written in VB.Net. All of our company's applications are written in VB.Net and there is a benefit in standardisation.
Finally, we can provide an example of one such Project working with one well-known cloud email provider so this should greatly assist in helping you understand what is involved.
