Hello Freelancers,
I have a vTiger 6.2 running in Linux that has a creation of 8000 incidents per month. The whole system currently has over 100 000 incidents.
This has gradually been affecting performance.
I need custom development that all closed tickets with creation date more than a month are placed in a different table that will be placed in a different sort of tablespace in a different disk from the main system. And for the end user it will all be transparent... they should be able to querry both tables in every querry they do of tickets and not noticing...
We will gain performance this way as they MOSTLY querry for open tickets or recently closed ones, so the querry will go to the small table most times. When it goes to the other it may take longer but that's OK.
Details of implementation and how the system remains transparent to the user and how it smartly knows where of the 2 tables to look for the searched ticket is left for the Freelancer to figure out and propose. Other smart alternatives to this one are welcomed.
This will be implemented and tested in a test environment and also migration to the live system during a night or weekend should be included. Documentation of files and objects in the database are required as well.

1. Move closed tickets with creation date more than a month from main database to other database to a new table.
a). Connection to new database.+3Hr
b). Save Closed tickets with creation date more than a month to new database and deleting from main database.
b1). Cron should run on each day to move closed tickets with creation date more than a month from main database to new database.+8Hr
OR
b2). We can create it manually. On clicking a button we can move all closed tickets with creation date more than a month from main database to other database to a new table.+8Hr
3. Search Filters for open / closed tickets.
a). Search closed tickets with more than a month older to new database.+5Hr
b). Search closed tickets with less than a month older to main database.+4Hr
c). Search open tickets to main database.+4Hr
Total Hours: 24 To 34 hrs
Rate: $9.89/hr
