Bidders should be familiar with WHMCS, and ideally have previous experience building payment/gateway modules in WHMCS. Buyer must be able to speak good english.
We have an existing tokenised payment gateway module.
The module also allows customers to make payments, it also does repeat payments, however this has stopped working since updating WHMCS from WHMCS 7.x to 8.x, and nothing is being recorded in the gateway log or elsewhere, so we're unsure exactly what the issue is. Normal payments i.e. not repeat payments, are working ok.
We'd also like to make some improvements suggested by our merchant provider.
- Add a new field to tblclients table, to store a secondary 'token' in WHMCS which will be generated by the payment gateway (which you would retrieve in the response, which is dealt with in the 'callback' code).
This secondary token will need to be sent to the payment provider for any recurring payments (using WHMCS capture function), in addition to the primary token stored in the gatewayid field in tblclients.
- A HTML Form is generated within the code, some logic needs to be added depending on whether a token is already stored or not i.e. if no token is stored, 'requestnewtoken' is sent, if token is stored, send 'token' and don't send 'requestnewtoken' (these are hidden input fields on the form).
- Optimise/fix the code if you see any improvements that can be made - ensure errors are logged to the gateway log as they don't seem to be at present.
I will provide you with the current coding/files documentation for the payment gateway provider which includes coding examples. Due to the sensitive nature of the data and cardholder data, we will need to work together to make any database changes i.e. i can add any database fields if you provide the code, and testing can only really be done in the live environment with real card details, which will require me to input my real card details to test, so we will need to work over live chat/screen share for testing.
