Looking for a simple script that would function like www.pic2map.com. front end users would have an upload button allowing for single or multiple photo uploads which would then be added to the map using exif data. This would be used to track and locate stray and missing pets.
Must be mobile device friendly as most images would be uploaded from phones.
In the event the GPS data did not exist in EXIF (or wasn't accurate) users should be able to adjust map pinpoint. for security, system must only allow for uploads of valid image files extensions
Some updates based on responses so far: we don't need to use all exif data the way pic2map uses in the lower half - just the MAP. Pic2map also doesn't have a user friendly way to upload multiple pictures (when you click upload - you have to control+click to select multiple images which is not user friendly) Also, by default, all pictures uploaded should be on the map, but users should be able to select smaller date ranges to be able to see only the most recent images (30day, 14 days, 7days). As an admin, we must also have a way to remove an image in the event where there is abuse or spam. I mentioned in the original project details that if there is no EXIF data, users should be able adjust the map pinpoint themselves, this should always be an option in case the GPS data wasn't accurate enough.
