BVK “Order Guide”
Goal:
Salespeople to large chain - supermarkets should also start using Journeyman’s system. By making it easier for them to locate products approved for the specific supermarket and adding them to their order.
Requirements:
Develop a new tab called “Order Guide”, to the left of the other 2 tabs.
It would include all approved products for the specific supermarked (WAL/ PUB/ VIN) the salesperson is creating an order for.
If a Chain supermarket is selected, automatically the order tab will open (as opposed to the “new order” tab, which opens when nall other stores are selected)
When first opened, the “Order Guide” tab would display all the department of the selected supermarket.
When selecting a department, all products in the department will be displayed in the following order / groupings
Vender
Category
EX. for product #811-G the vender is: “115” and the category is: “AARBS”
Each product will include all the info that is currently included when searching in the “ new order” tab besides for “product category” which is not important for these salespeople.
At the end of each product row, there will be a “yellow +” to add products just like in the “history” tab.
On the bottom right of the screen, there should a “Next” button which takes the user to the “New order” tab to review and submit the order.
How to:
There are only 3 chains of Mega supermarkets and they can be identified in column 10 as following
WAL
PUB
WIN
In “[login to view URL]” and the corresponding file we have access to, the first 3 columns include:
the Chain code: WEL/PUB/WIN - corresponding to column 10
Approved products
And the department name in which the product is in, in that chain.
For sorting / grouping by vendor and category, use the example given to determine which columns indicate what.
In product t #811-G
the vender is: “115(???)”
the category is: “AARBS”
