We made some reference work for courses in the offshore and maritime markt. Training centrums give the students this reference work after an course. They training centers pay us for every student that use the reference work. After the training the student get an license key which the can enter in our environment and give them acces for using the reference work one year.
There are more training centers but an student can have one account for more reference works for example student A does an course by Training center A and center B he can use one account for both reference works. But the student can also do two courses at one center than he get 2 license keys for both reference works.
They training centers has an account for ordering license keys in our portal. We get the orders in our Admin portal where we can update the status to printed, sended and payed. Also there must be an csv file per type of course with the license keys so we can print them.
Add reference works: in the Admin portal we need the option to add and edit reference works. Reference must be edited with a wysiwyg editor and has more pages (we send an example how it now is). Also we need an overview with all the students when we click on a student we can see the student information, license keys and expire dates. Later the student gets an options to pay for the reference work when the first year is expired.
We need first a system that works in the browser but also an iOS and android app. It’s very important that the user can acces the reference work offline in the iOS and android version only for login and download the reference work the need internet access. Also the need internet once in the 2 weeks for updating the expire dates and check them with the server date. Its no problem when the browser version only works with internet connection. Maybe its an option to build the backend for us in wordpress it gives us a lot of options and its scalable but we are open for other options.
