Magento 2 Support and Development

Background… We are a retailer. We have a showroom, and run 2 websites. We have decided to run our business using Magento. Our requirements are to have EVERYTHING run through Magento. Our POS, 2 Websites, Telephone Orders, eBay and Amazon as well as our Purchase orders, stock control, Picking, Packing and Fulfilment. Did I mention EVERYTHING? Doing so will allow us control our business. We feel it is the right time to make the decision NOT to use Magento 1. Magento 2 is the future, and it is time to embrace that. Internally, our business employs me. I am an expert in running Magento 1 stores, and Magento 2 is no different to the approach required. HOWEVER… We have found that Magento 2 is unstable. Making changes to Magento 2 with extension installations/upgrades, Magento upgrades and also some simple admin changes has led us to the conclusion we need to hire in some help. We are not server experts. I have had my own success with fixing Magento 2 failures, BUT they are dwarfed by the failures. Putting server backups in place everytime we make a change is not something we can afford to do when we are running our business. What we want… We want to work with someone who we can rely on to make Magento 2 run smoothly. Any changes that are made to the configuration/setup of Magento, we need to have confidence that when applied will not result in our business stopping trading. We need to work with somebody that can test the changes we require, and then deploy them on our live Magento installation. We need somebody who knows server environments, and how they work AND conflict with Magento 2 so we avoid downtime. In short, we need a Magento 2 EXPERT. In place at the moment is a fully functioning Magento 2.0.12 installation, with 10 extensions installed. We are running a simple servers SSD semi dedicated VPS server, running Cpanel. We need someone to initially evaluate the server we have, and make recommendations in regard to Magento 2. Perhaps there is a setup issue? Perhaps it’s the wrong server? We need to then carry out the following: 1: Deploy the best of breed testing/development solution 2: Upgrade to Magento 2.1.5 3: Upgrade the extensions already installed to work with the latest version Boostmyshop (x5) Magestore (x4) 4: Oversee the installation of further extensions Amasty (x24) Various others (x6) M2epro SagePay from eBizmarts 5: Ensure everything works with no conflicts, in conjunction with us testing 6: Deploy changes on live Magento Installation Once this setup and procedures are in place, our requirements will be to work with somebody to check in and report on the database and code within Magento, and advise. Also, bespoke work will be requested, when needed, to ensure we have the best website to fit our needs.
