Develop Healthcare Software Program

We are hiring a developer to create the first stage of an application. If this milestone is completed well, there will be more work immediately. We are a young fresh thinking company based in Cardiff, Wales looking to improve the standard of health care provided by medical professionals. We plan to do this by making it easier and quicker for them to write their medical notes and empowering them with superior tools to provide targeted educational material to their patients. The Project (basic): “A user (medical professional) creates an account and logs in to the program. He/she prepares *pre-made text ‘templates’ of frequently performed day to day procedures. After the user has seen a patient, the details of the event must be recorded in the medical records. The user creates a ‘new note’ using this program. Starting with a blank canvas, he/she will choose relevant pre made (*customised by the user) templates by clicking on them. This adds the selected template(s) to a ‘Note Creation Area’. Within the ‘Creation Area’ further modifications can be made to a template (additions/deletions) if necessary in order to tailor the final note to the individual patient. Once the final note is complete the user can see a preview. A button is then pressed to copy the final note to the clipboard. The user is then free to ‘paste’ the newly created note into whatever medical software program they normally use to store their medical records. A reset button clears the note creation area of the program ready for the next ‘note’.” *pre-made text ‘note templates’ will initially be controlled/written by the developer for simplicity. Basic Program Requirements: • Program will run in a web browser primarily on a desktop computer (compatibility with tablet operation eg IPAD may be required at later development stage) • Needs to react quickly to user command • Initially demonstrate eg 2 users (each with different pre saved templates) We’re looking for clean modular code to implement these requirements. For completion of this project it will need to be up and running on a development server I can access to test its functionality as described. Developer Requirements • Very good communication skills • Technical skills: Javascript, JSON, MongoDB, PHP, CSS, HTML, mySQL • Ideally familiar using GITHUB • Strong understanding of working with databases including NoSQL databases eg MongoDB • Familiar setting up subscription plans for SAAS applications - eg STRIPE API • References or established reputation is preferred. ***IMPORTANT: Just so we know you’re genuine please write: PURPLE DRAGON as the first line of your bid.
