Create Wordpress editor plugin

Experts with Wordpress plugins only. Create WordPress plugin that works with WordPress editor. The plugin should work with the standard visual tab (not source/HTML) of WordPress and must also work with the editor in the DIVI theme. The plug-in needs to keep track of N words after the cursor location (N=MAXWORDS, default=14, but needs to have some flexibility). Within the plugin area, each word will be sent to an API we provide. The API will return a list of values that will be displayed below each word. The plugin will have a settings area with about 15 values which contain defaults for the plugin operation. Some of the values will be assigned keystroke values for commands. The editor area must scroll independently from the plugin. The plugin should remain static at the bottom of the editor window and not move or jump around as the editor window scrolls. Please detail your experience with Wordpress plugins.
