I will like to migrate an old website [login to view URL] to a Wordpress site. The site is now in an old CMS. All the images uploaded in a folder and all the content comes from a MSSQL database. The database contains also HTML (so not only plain texts). The project will include the following steps: 1. Customise a theme (probably we will buy an existing theme and we will do some small customisations like logo, menu changes, etc.). The option to use an existing theme provided by the developer will also be an alternative. 2. Install the theme in a DEMO envirmoment (provided by us or by the developer) 3. Import and clean the content from the old site (I can provide a database that may be used as source for the import, or I can provide a list with the URLs for all the articles). The total nomber of in the website now is 2057 articles. I do expect a relatively easy data import because all the articles are using the same template (here is an example: [login to view URL]) and we ONLY import the article content and not the sidebars, comments, menus or footers. We will like to test every single page after the import and clean it manually if necessary. We may also provide some testing capacity. Preferably, the import should also move all the images to the Wordpress server or a CDN. We will like to stop using the old servers. Good to know: if this project is successful some other projects of the same type but for bigger websites will follow as we have multiple websites. This is outer-scope for this project but is a good indication that the company that wins will have a long working relation with us. We are looking for experienced companies / developers. Please, provide links to portfolio websites and other projects you did. After this project we will add to the site a community and a e-commerce site. So, the company should have experience with WooComerce, BuddyPress, etc. In the future, based on the success of the project, a mobile app may be also considered. We will rather have a fixed price contact.
