Their are lot of interested people here and they have lot of different things so i dont know you will reply me or not or even read my post or not but i want to let you know that we do have around 245 apps, 119 games and about 190 web based sites and softwares. Virtual machine overhead not required for a single user desktop session. More secure than a guest session on ubuntu . A multi user system can be implemented with more desktops and a qemu based virtual guest session This will require more memory for server and cam use diskless clents. That may not be what you are looking for. Kernel can be chosen at boot time from a newer 4.0 version or an older 3.0 (if support for legacy 486 pc required). 4.0 kernel requires minimally a pentium processor. A grub boot loader cam install to disk Memory/storage requirements can be minimized by keeping a bare minimum of packages. Upgrades cam be done frequently to base system. If you have not used anything besides one-mesh, can describe preferences by comparing to 1-mesh. Chrome OS is not part of linux. PHP is not an operating system component or language required for core linux tasks. Essential only if you have some local software pre-dependent on php. Custom program can be built for other requirements. Most unnecessary features can be disabled for run time. Multiple copies of live filesystem can be created from a single base system and chosen at boot time by user (for single user desktop ). A little more storage for each filesystem copy required -- 10 -15 % of base system size. More options for 32/64 bit
