PLEASE NOTE: We would like to discuss the budget with you directly if you are interested. Please message me if you have any questions. We are a VPN service currently running in a very "alpha" state. We would like to upgrade our front-end infrastructure mainly consisting of our custom OpenVPN GUI and billing/invoicing web app. The full description of our current infrastructure and our plans is available here: [login to view URL] In short: We need to upgrade our GUI to use OpenVPN management interface (telnet like interface used to manage OpenVPN service) instead of just launching and killing a binary which is less stable. We would also like the app to run on OS X as well as Windows. Preferred solution - C++/QT , C# or node.js / electron app. We need to upgrade our web client area which is currently WHMCS which is not very suitable for a VPN (At least as a front-end). We want it to be much simpler. This will likely force us to rebuild (at least partially) our user authentication infrastructure as we are currently using RADIUS which we are not very happy with. Preferred solution - PHP or other app with Google App Engine compatibility.

Hi Im Amir from Appout Egypt, We have avery long experience with VPN Solution, what i understood now is that you want to mainly change all front-end for both client and back-end with some parts of the system core it self "RADIUS " Lets first discuss quickly some technologies. The best thing fits ur needs is C# with Xamarin , electron App will not go ok with the native features on OSX, other system components will be in C# too so we keep the system consistent and maintainable . There is only one question about technology remains "why not C++/QT" i will say high cost, hard to maintain. The budget you mentioned will not go be enough for WInodws/OSX , i don't know if u need Apps IOS/Android So?, i think we might discuss this more in details and we can provide you a good estimation. hi i propose Nodejs or Python/Django for web including client/admin with existing front-end/theme. php is not good in term of security. I propose nodejs/electron for desktop GUI for reusing web front-end code/theme. I have investigated and setup OpenVPN before and know what it takes. I have read your project description. its architecture is clear. Questions: 1. What problem with the current Radius and what login module you like to replace it? 2. what payment gateways you want to support? stripe, paypal? I have 6+ years Python/Javascript development experience. good knowledge of docker containers. I am very interested in this project. pls reply for further discussion.
