Creating an API feed between 2 systems

Project is to pull last odometer reading from iBright by assetId or vehicle id and inserting this to fleetio. With overall factors considered, e.g. cost, simplicity, system overhead among others below is a quick synopsis of how the system will work. The application will just be a console application that will be ran as a Windows Scheduled task every hour. - It will read all assets from iBright. - Using the list of the assets it will get the AssetID and use it to get the last odometer reading for the past hour if found. - The asset id will be the same as the vehicle id in fleetio and will update the meter entry for that ID in fleetio. - System will continue to run until terminated. -- Failure Effect and Recovery - Since the system is disconnected by design there is no discernable high business impact during outage - If the system fails to run during a specific time period and there's no activity for the last hour after recovery, it may fail to read the last entry. At such conditions the console application can be executed in the console with a parameter for number of days to sync. The system can then be rescheduled normally. -- Scope of support - Santos Systems supports the application up to the extent of the scope. Any features added or design changes will be considered out of scope and may incur normal Santos Systems charges of 50USD/hour.

Recently, I have done API integration using the platform called Zapier and also using custom tool in python. Regarding your requirement, I like to know the 1) What kind of current system you have?
