Update (28/05): I have a 'turn-key' SHA3 (also known as Keccak) based currency, based on the latest 'MaxCoin' source and modified to suit - ready to go. It simply needs two instances to be started (and people mining it obviously) - and you have a stable & fast (60 second block times) cryptocurrency. Please give me a chance. I actually documented my entire project from idea to bazcoind, but opted not to use Scrypt as i'm sure you are aware of the quantity of HOWTO documentation available on this subject; however if you chose to go this way I have no issues with it. I recall having stayed up 36 hours figuring out how to get the genesis block created (this is the hard part and the code to do this is often stripped out of 'ready to market' cryptocurrencies). For example with the case of the latest Litecoin source available from Github - you will notice that LoadBlock/LoadBlockIndex has barely anything present at all besides nNonce etc. I'm also asking for a chance at a good reputation on freelancer, as this will be my first project (but certainly not daunting).
