Capturing Wi-Fi user email address through Mikrotik hotspot

Good day , I can do this . I worked a lot with mikrotik hotspot. Is used Mikrotik login page ? or custom ? (if is custom price can be just 100 ) I can't check if address is correct 100 % :( , but I can check if looks like an email address - asdf @[login to view URL] . Look forward to do this project . In future you can use FaceBook like for login. in this way you can get more data from client . i.e. Birthdate, Email , Country. Thank you, Octavian

Hello, I have big experience in Mikrotik RouterOS and Hotspot. Basically you have 2 options. 1. Submiting e-mail field using Ajax to a third party database server (PHP + MySQL is must) and adding that server to whitelist in the hotspot configuration. 2. Creating new login page which will be hosted on other server (PHP + MySQL) not on the router and making some changes in firewall and hotspot configuration. My bid is for the first option. This is very easy to accomplish with Mikrotik. The mikrotik login page is an html file that can be personalized and we could use a small trick to gather the e-mail info. But this solution has some limitations. If this is not enough, there is an optional package in Mikrotik called "User Manager" that is a customized version of a radius server that includes a signup page (also in html that can be personalized) where the users fill up a form with their e-mail address. After the signup, they receive an e-mail with their account information and any other info you want to send them. In order to export the data to a useful format for you, I would write a little export script that creates a file with the data you need. You can then download this file from the router or the script could send it to you by e-mail. I think that these features already built in Mikrotik software are enough for your needs. If you need something more sophisticated, an external web server would be required but the coding that would be needed is also very simple.
