Hi, What is the number of websites that need crawling and with which frequency? If you need crawling on a large scale, I'd recommend Apache Nutch and its related technologies on Apache stack (HBase on Hadoop's HDFS, Solr & Gora), which would provide for a solution that you'd easily be able to distribute across multiple servers in a Hadoop cluster.
