Build a simple football tournament game editor

I need a single admin page that can create, show and edit game information for a single football junior game with MySql and AJAX/PHP. I would like the editor to use 4 separate tables (players, games, game events & teams), but this is just how I pictured how it would work best. If you have any ideas how to accomplish this easier, please let me know. Please refer to the simple flowchart to see what I'm trying to achieve and the mockup for how I imagine it would be easiest to use. You can presume that the additional information in the database (teams, players and game information) are inserted before the game by hand. A game event would only include goals and yellow cards, no other types are needed. If you can add the add goal functionality, I can copy the function for the "add yellow card" functionality. Styling of the page is also unnecessary, just the plain code will do without the CSS. (The page will be using a skeleton template). So the actions needed on the editor page are: 1. Start game (begin running clock & save start time to DB) 2. Add, edit and display game event in a table/grid 3. Stop game (stop running clock & save stop time to DB) Please message me for any possible additional information.
