Build payment module or Integrate a third party payment method to Prestashop

We need a payment method named IGFS integrated in our prestashop stores.
It can be integrated in prestashop via API specifications.
We would have it as a module for easy deploy or support to integrate it in a prestashop installation.
A similar module that does this exists for Magento and you can use this too if it helps.
