Basic Bigcommerce Features & Tweaks

I need some simple basic features tweaked with my bigcommerce platform that bigcommerce has yet to implement to their users. 1} - I need to be able to change the current default order status names bigcommerce has in their stores(such as pending, awaiting payment, awaiting fullfillment, awaiting shipment and so on) to something more custom to fit our business industry and 2} - I need to receive email notifications when a customer messages about their order within their account. IMPORTANT NOTE: Freelancer MUST be proficient in the bigcommerce platform & must be able to provide all the edit code / files for me to implement myself. I will not be granting log in access but I am more than capable of inserting the code into the specific files needed. I will need you to understand English fluently and be able to communicate effectively.
