Expert coder needed to clean up Wordpress theme for speed issues

We have a small Wordpress 3.5.1 site using Woocommerce (not 2.0) with responsive MayaShop theme. Our site is extremely slow and we need someone to look at the theme to see if they can clean up the code to speed up the site. The site must remain responsive. Takes between 10-20 seconds to load a page, front and back end, should only be a few seconds, even with our current hosting as the site is small (site is essentially offline right now so visitors are not an issue).
