Make a toolbar like upromise or retailmenot?

The Toolbar Functionality

1)? ? ? ? ? The tool bar is going to be a shopping coupon / rebate software.

2)? ? ? ? ? The tool bar will alert the user when he goes to a specific site that is listed in our Backend as a site containing a rebate or coupon.?

The toolbar needs to take very low CPU resources. It should not have any memory leaks etc. Basically it should be a well build product.

How will the Tool Bar know what sites to alert the user ?

1)? ? ? ? ? The tool bar will have a list of sites and appropriate urls that will be downloaded when the toolbar is installed

2)? ? ? ? ? The toold bar will update this list on a regular bases

Note ??" I don’t want the tool bar making too many calls to our servers inorder to get the alert url list. Once a day per tool bar is fine

3)? ? ? ? ? A place to update the alert URL list with Jump Urls
