I wanted to tell you that most times, there is no important difference between developing mobile, desktop and web GUIs to provide one functionality for skilled developers. I have experience with all of them, but main part of your project is finding trends, working with proxies, using filters and ... . Making Graphical User Interface is just small part and can be done easily. So you should focus on main functionalities instead of GUI to find a best freelancer:) I have +10 years of experience in programming. I have worked with Twitter, Google and Yahoo trend API before. I can code real time tracking for certain phrases using APIs and trigger on specific phrases encountered.
