Requirements:I would like to be able to perform average speed and reliability testing of communications through a cellular broadband router.? ? I need a? I am downloading Ixia Chariot but I fear this might be a bit too complicated to use - I'm looking for an alternate suggestion.
Test Definitions
Download Speed:? The average speed (in kilobits per second) at which we download random data from a known internet server during a 1-minute streaming test.
Upload Speed:? The average speed (in kilobits per second) at which we upload random data from a known internet server during a 1-minute streaming test.
Reliability: The percentage of tests in which we could detect a signal, connect at a reasonable speed (faster than [url removed, login to view]), and sustain an uninterrupted connection for the duration of a 1-minute streaming test.

Recommendation of a free (or demo) software tool that will be easy to use for a non-network/non-IT person.? ? The tool should also meet the requirements as described.? ? Note that it is possible for me to change the test requirements slightly if the tool recommended does not exactly fit my requirements but can still meet the spirit of the testing that I want to do.? ? The person recommending the tool should be very familiar with the use of the tool.
