We are seeking an engineer who has extensive experience with Google Maps, Google Earth, Microsoft Virtual Earth and mapping technologies in general.
The project entails building an application that given a database of addresses, saves a single image for each address corresponding to the property associated with that address. The image should have a parcel polygon around it depicting the perimeter of the properly.
We already have a program that accomplishes 100% of this task, but our program is not scalable. Your objective is to make this program much more scalable by enabling it to work with multiple servers and by possibly obtaining a much larger initial image and then slicing the image into smaller parts thereby reducing the need to hit the image server excessively.
Your program will produce results that will be similar to the following:
100 Main Street~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
[][1]102 Main Street~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
104 Main Street~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
106 Main Street~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
109 Main Street~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
213 Maple Ave~Charlotte~NC~[url removed, login to view]
etc.
We have a database of all available addresses that we are looking to feed into your program. Your program should also obtain parcel polygons from [url removed, login to view] or other SIMILAR SITES are and super-imposed them over the image of the property in order to display the perimeter of the property.
Please provide your bids with the consideration that 90% of the logic for this program is written, we just need some optimization and scaling of the application so that it can be easily installed on multiple servers with multiple accounts.
## Deliverables
The attached zip file contains an image that outlines the boundries for each of the addresses that will be in this database.
Your program needs to produce an image for each address entry. This image can be stored as a file, or be entered into a database.
