I run a membership site and currently use the Sobi2 directory component (an extension for Joomla!) but don't feel it works well. I want something that offers users a more aesthetically pleasing profile look and better tools for managing users. What I am looking for is a CMS that allows users to register, build a profile page (like a mini website) adding various types of content, has a good looking templates, good frontend search facilities so web visitors can find who they are looking for, backend user management so I can find members, automated and manual mailing facilities so I can contact users by name, category, expiry date, user ID etc. It should also be able to pick up near matched or tagged listings based on the profile being shown (for example, listings within the profile geo proximity, with similar tag words etc).
You may have built something similar to this before that may just need minor tweaks to work on my site. I am interested in any programmers that can help with this for a reasonable price.
