PHP,mySQL, & Xitami or Apache Configuration

I have PHP 4.3.5. installed, along with mySQL 4.0.18, and Xitami 2.5c1 installed locally. I would like someone to assist me configuring mySql to interface with PHP and Xitami. The reason for this is because I have a a program written in PHP that is supposed to allow me to manipulate the content on my live website, which uses OSCommerce and mySQL. A reference to this program is as follows: [login to view URL] Because I am not a "guru" with PHP, OSCommerce and mySQL at this point in time, I need to use such a tool that will allow me to easily manage my content without affecting database connections. Hence, I would like to pay someone to help me get this part off the ground. I've gotten as far as configuring PHP to interpret/parse PHP scripts locally; however, I am not able to get mySQL connected. I have extensive experience with Sunbelt Remote Administrator and pcAnywhere; however, I deliberately have MS Remote Desktop Sharing, FTP, Telnet, etc. I would prefer to pcAnywhere, because I can record the process applied to solve my problem(s). The second half of my need it so have someone help me understand how to manage/manipulate content using the Admin tools available through CRE Loaded. My website is www.sunnyvalleycomputers.com. If you go to my "products" portal, you will see that OSC is up and running. My ultimate goal is to populate my mySQL DB with hundreds, if not thousands of products. Any takers?
