140814 PHP Remote File Edits/Uploads

I have a number of websites that I currently am in the process of developing. I am looking to have a script developed that will allow me to make changes to remote files as well as upload new files to multiple websites.

There are two main procedures that I need incorporated:

1) The ability to access and make changes to remotely hosted files.

Example: for each defined FTP account, select file [login to view URL] and change occurrences of OLDTEXT to NEWTEXT.

2) The ability to upload a single file or a directory of files to various FTP accounts.

All FTP information is contained in a MySQL database.
