Create tables and queries in MySQL. Create PHP code that will update simple inventory by room/date/GroupID. Hotel has a total of 102 guest rooms, 9 guest room types, 5 meeting rooms.

Front end program that gathers room request data already created.

Create Web services with PHP to communicates with front end. WSDL file for front end software required.

Your PHP code is to update our existing room inventory calendar via an existing PHP script.

Create an admin program in a Joomla Module that can delete and recreate all room information from existing XML data files, allow calendar dates to be marked as sold out (from start date/end date) , allow guest and meeting rooms to be marked as sold out (from start date/end date).

Example:

Front end software sends a request via web services for room data Jan 6 to 8/2009. Web Services returns room availability information for that time period.

Confirmed room booking will update room inventory and calendar information.
