Dubai-based Freelance web developer for content management with ecommerce project

Hi, We are looking for highly skilled Dubai-based Freelance web developer full-time/part-time PHP developer with experience in HTML5 & responsive designs to work for an exciting online start up business. The project is well underway. The incumbent will work closely with the graphic designer (already appointed) to deliver the scope of work outlined. The incumbent should be enthusiastic, technology-driven, motivated by new and experimental technologies and will tirelessly strive for the best user experience; above all obsessed over writing smart, simple and clean code. Further skills required for this project include: • Understanding business requirements & functional specifications. • A proficiency in HTML5, front-end UI, frameworks like html5bp, responsive web design is a must • Must be proficient in PHP (5+ years' experience), MySQL, CSS2, CSS3, HTML5, Javascript, jQuery & jQuery UI (2+ years' experience), AJAX, XML and MVC frameworks • Must have experience with development of ecommerce sites • Must have developed web applications using Agile Methodologies and Object Oriented Programming • Must have experience in Drupal / Joomla or other CMSes / wordpress and should have developed plugins / modules for customisation • Must have experience in development of browser / mobile / device independent websites • Should be a clean coder following industry standard code guidelines and best practices example: pear coding standards. (no 'encrypted' / 'dirty' coding) • Should be able to understand and customise existing PHP code / modules • Should have strong knowledge of maintaining a Linux server • Should have excellent written communication skills (English) • Must have capacity to work independently and also as a part of team • Must have dedication and commitment towards work • Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery is desirable The person should have demonstrated experience in the development of intuitive concepts that are not only attractive and engaging, but are results-oriented in terms of helping to sell health and beauty and or high-end luxury products.
