Write a program to concatenate videos and add an overlay

Hi there i went through your description and am interested in this project. I am a PHP developer sorry i dont know java so i will be doing this project in PHP. I will be using the ffmpeg library to join and place the watermark and overlay texts. Relevant experience in this field is at [login to view URL], a site developement by me. It deals with mp4 videos, we also place overlays there, but this is all done using HTML5 and flash. From what you are asking it seems to be an easy task. I already did research about this subject and did find that ffmpeg library does support all the features you are asking for. The only RND that may be needed is the part with codec translations and making sure we dont face quality degradation during the joining part.
