I am not sure if this is possible as I have not found a way to do it myself. But I am willing to pay anyone that can do it for me. What I need is a way to embed binary files ( picture and sound files) within a single HTML file that can render these graphics and sounds when it the html file is opened in a web browser. The files should probably be stored as text using Base64 encrypting and decripting functions, but like I said, I am not sure if this can be done. Most eMail clients do this using mime encodings, rtf files do this too. See attached file for a sample containg 4 files of which I want to have the gif and sound file to be stored in one html file, the other is an email message (get that darn cat!.eml) that demonstrates how I want the html file to work. You can open the emial file using MS Outlook Express. I would like to have a simple VB program that will use the attached html file as a template and create a new html file with the midi file and gif encoded within it. When the html file is opened, the midi file should play and the gif file should be displayed.
