Remedy (pref. Java) API for Help Desk

I am hoping to work with a developer with recent experience with interfacing to Remedy Help Desk using APIs. You must have access to your own Remedy Help Desk/ARS test environment. Although my preference is for Java, -a .NET/C# implementation is the second preference) I need to have my existing external application 1. Remotely connect to the Remedy system 2. Authenticate itself 3. Be able to open/close/reassign a ticket 4. Add a note to a ticket 5. Query tickets by owner - owner provided as parameter 6. Query tickets by time it has been open - time and owner provided as parameters. Owner may be "all" 7. Get Group membership details The connection from my app to Remedy would use a static or floating license. A superuser/admin account will be used to update/create this information on behalf of several other users. I do not require that you design my application. I require a java package that offers the functionality/methods packaged on top of the provided Remedy APIs. My preference is for a socket based API that keeps the connection open for a while so set up time is minimized - but if the current Remedy implementation encourages Web Services that is fine as well. Any properties required for the package (remedy server details, authentication details) should be assumed provided in a properties format file. Use Log4J for logging. Use standard debugging conventions. Use standard practices for Exception logging - try to convert to friendly messages. We will need Java Docs. Use Ant or Maven for build In a past life we used to buy a 3rd party JavaARS API. I am not sure what Remedy has available now. Your domain experience will be useful here. In your bid, please identify the Remedy systems you will have access to, what versions you will be able to support, and previous experience interfacing with Remedy. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
