Playing MP3 Files On Handheld Devices

Hi,

I'm looking for someone to develop class(es) that will enable the playing of MP3 or WMA files on handheld devices.

If you can provide a solution using ANY of these platforms individually then I am interested in hearing from you, as I am allowing bidding for specific platform(s).

1) Pocket PC 2003 2nd Edition under the CF1.0 framework.

2) Pocket PC 2005 Edition under the CF2.0 framework.

3) Smartphones.

4) Palm devices.

For implementation you can use C# or VB.Net, preference is on C# if possible.

If you can do this using a Java library then I will also accept this but there must be a wrapper through C# or VB.Net that I can call.

The solution can use third party libraries if needed but these libraries must be free to use in a commercial product and have no licence or royalty fees for using them.

The functionality that I require is to be able to:-

1) play / queue up tracks.

2) ability to stop all playing of tracks, and start functionality to go through the track list.

3) ability to repeat a play list that must be automatic when the playlist has ended, i.e. playing a single mp3 file will just repeat itself over and over forever.

4) ability to skip to next track, and previous track.

A little example application showing the class would be appreciated, but this doesn't need to look pretty as I am only really interested in the class that will expose the functionality required to do the work.

The solution should be able to play the sound in the background without displaying any screen in the foreground, like Windows Media Player etc.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
