Print Spooler cleaner service

We are looking for a tiny windows service to manage the print spooler of our Citrix Windows 2000 servers. From time to time, the print job sent by some user fails to print and hangs the spool. In such situations, the procedure to fix it is: - Stop the print spooler service - Clean the spool (removing every print job at c:\winnt\system32\spool\printers) - Clean the Citrix autocreated printers (removing every entry at start -> settings -> printers whose name is \\client\...) - Start the print spooler service - Send a popup message to every terminal services active session asking them to close and restart their session. We would like to have this automated, for instance, using a "spool cleaner" windows service. It should detect when a print job crashes the spool and automate the previously mentioned procedure. ## Deliverables **GENERAL TERMS** Before bidding to this project, please take into account the following terms and conditions: * Our company is looking for a pool of coders to work frecuently with. We won't even reply to bidders just saying: “I will do this work for you??. We are looking for bids including a complete and detailed project description. Our bid request just defines a draft of what we want to have coded. The coder should send the detailed project plan and the exhaustive list of features to be implemented. The bid acceptance will ensure the approval of the codder proposals. * We are not reluctant to work with coders without previous ratings. In fact, many of our coders have done one of their first RAC projects for us. Such coders must “prove?? their aptitude sending prototypes, references, etc. * We encourage bidders to suggest improvements and new features to our bid requests. We always try to explain our goals down to the last detail and suggestions and improvements are always welcome before, during and after the project. We will be pleased to pay extra bonuses or create new bid requests if needed. * We realize that sometimes we ask for functionalities that are difficult or impossible to implement. Please feel free to suggest work-arounds. * Don&'t worry if you don&'t have citrix or terminal servers to test with. We will allow you to access to one of our server farms to remotely test your deployments. We have deep knowledge and experience developing tools based on the Citrix server SDKs. As a coder, you can always ask us for help. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) OOP class diagrams and documentation. Detailed instructions on how to compile the application in Visual Studio .NET/2003 ## Platform - Visual C/C++ 2003 or .NET (also Visual Basic 2003 or .NET) - Required platform is Windows 2000 server. - Even though Windows server 2003 is not mandatory, it might be also desirable.
