The wind power installation will provide an alternative energy source to a diesel-generator system or will be used to supplement such a system when wind conditions are good. It is anticipated that the average annual electrical energy requirement for the type of small farm at which sales are targeted will be in the order of 32 MWhrs. it is the designers responsibility to define the operating wind conditions for the machine as where the wind turbine will be located. The report should consist of the following: A full specification for the system including requirements. Synthesis of several possible design solutions. A good quality general arrangement drawings of the finished design (not detail drawings). Electrical/control system schematic. A full set of design calculations. A cost estimate of the system. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
