Hi there, I was happy to see that you are looking for pencil or pen and ink portraits.I'm familiar with Hedcut style (actually have done number of detailed pen and ink works in a similar style), so I'm happy to offer either realistic or slightly portraits in pen and ink, that I would deliver as high resolution scans or send the originals. The technique is rather time-consuming and therefore costly, so my quote is a flat rate for 60 Hedcut style portraits, and the cost for a single illustration would be 55 USD. Please note, though, that I can offer different styles for lower rates. I'm a traditionally trained artist, working professionally as an old-school illustrator for many years. Hello i red your desription @so you are co-authoring an upcoming (winter) business book that features approx 50 interviews with various business leaders. I would like to contract with a sketch artist to take 50 or so photograph (headshots) and return small caricature or pencil sketches (black + white) for each photo. These would be small (2"x2") in final print form and delivered in digital format - either by scanning hand drawings or completely rendered digitally. The key is to make it professional looking (not cartoonish) as it's a business book. I like the Wall Street Journal (Stipple or Hedcut) look and if a graphic artist can take a digital photo and transform this into that look --- I'm open for that. Looking for a per sketch price but the job would be for 40-60 over a 3 month period.@ please contact me so we will do it
