IoT backend for Numeric & Image Data

Hi there, I am an expert Full Stack Developer with previous experience with embedded systems. I can develop the API that you are looking for. After reading your proposal, I would like to clarify the following: 1. Deployment solution: What Cloud solution are you using currently? Are you on an EC2 instance on AWS or a Compute Engine instance on GCP? 2. Database: The choice for time series database (between Influx and Timescale) really depends on the 2 factors: the number of devices connected and the amount of incoming data. For high volume ingress and many devices, you are better off with Timescale DB. Otherwise, Influx will be a suitable solution. 3. Messaging: The communication protocol for the embedded devices is stated as MQTT. What server solution are you using as broker? RabbitMQ? 4. Storage: For image storage, you mentioned cloud storage. What product are you using? Storage bucket on AWS or GCP? My first task would be design the schema for your time series database. The entire performance is dependent on the schema. Once approved, I will start implementing the API. I will need access to some test data to test the API and it would be a great help if that can be provided. The API will be developed as a REST interface using Nodejs. If the OS for the Linux machine has not been decided yet then, I would strongly recommend OpenSuse Leap 42.3 or 15.1. The API will provide access to the data and allow appropriate time based and other filtering options. Thanks for your time.

Hi, I can write a small nodejs script that serves as api server that it picked up from mqtt broker and esp32 cam. As explained it will be picking up data from mqtt and cam, store into timesearies db, and it will serve data via api. Also i will be including few filters like search for specific days or everything that you request. I will be offering also set up of m script on your server, and guarantee on it up to 1 year on any bug.

hello, I read project description to be honest. I didn't work with MQTT. but I read about it. and I want to work on this project. I am electrical engineer as well as software engineer. so I think I am the perfect choice for this project. But I need some time to understand some stuff. so let me know if you consider my proposal I am not give you surety like I am definitely complete your project. but by learning step by step I try to complete it.
