Canvas LMS development

We need to add new SIS-related features to Canvas LMS: - In-built Report Card system (single and multiple) - Custom Query builder (retrieve information from database and output depending on the selected criteria) - Basic SIS capabilities (ability to sort large amounts of data depending on selected criteria) Basically duplicate some of the functions already available with GibbonEdu. * the level of priority. ** Basic SIS capabilities: Basically related to data organization. Some of them could be "tag" system as that used by WordPress. These SIS capabilities would be for student enrollment statuses, custom profile fields, staff departments, year groups, roll groups and maybe other 'sorting'... ** A custom query builder: A basic visual tool that lets you retrieve data from the database and arrange it with logic operators in order to generate (PDF or XLSX downloadable) reports with the selected information. *** PDF Report Cards: Traditional student course final grades & outcomes; branded and with teacher comments * A Course & Class structure: Courses meaning Topics of learning (category level, no content needed beyond a description), and Classes meaning Contents for specific roll groups (LMS content for a specific group of people) ** Rollover system: Students able to pass the next year are automatically enrolled on the next year's courses. * Timetable system: The same functionality as that of Gibbon or any traditional SIS. Basically a global timetable that, as a calendar with Terms (Q1, Q2, etc), displays a student's or staff's weekly timetable (upcoming classes, etc). ** Behavior and Attendance: An improved attendance system that expands into Classes attendance (this is related to the previous timetable system). And behavior in order to put alerts and keep track of those. ** Multiple Canvas instances: A way to deploy multiple Canvas instances on-demand OR a way to create a new Administrative Role that keeps all admin capabilities, but limits the visibility to only the population (users, content, groups, timetables, etc, etc) of the relevant institution (leaving us, the "super-admin" with total visibility) - similar to Wordpress Multisite. I'd like to mention that I'm willing to work with someone that recommends using another platform such as Moodle. Since this is a new implementation. 3-4 weeks
