Hello there, I am working as a Linux Senior System Administrator at one of the biggest web hosting companies in Romania (top 5 companies) - www.gazduire.ro. We have apache & mysql on all our hosting server which host in average around 250-350 cPanel accounts. That accounts for a minimum of 350 web sites per server or even more, most of them running php/mysql platforms (wordpress/joomla/magento/opencart/presta shop/etc). I can look into your problem and suggest or apply or fix depending of the cause that leads to the problem. At a first look, the issue could be memory related meaning that those 2GB of memory are not enough for your server. Do you use apache as a web server? Do you have a hosting panel installed on that server (cPanel/Webmin/CWP/etc)? i can solve your database connection isse and make your site live properly. it will be better to use any vps management tool, you can use cpanel (paid) or zpanel (free). so you can use your server with best facilities. am i can get your current site address to check? waiting for your reply to start now and more discuss.
