First, assuming that the two columns are of Long Text type, when searching in Tables or Queries, the matching operators return the 100% match. Even if you use the Like operator that searches for part of a string in a column. So I don't understand when you say you want to achieve 80% match on each record? Can you share an example of the information returned by the two columns and the possible text that the user will enter?
